An airbag saved my … unborn children’s financial security

i rarely go to the record store (for shame!) but yesterday I did and noticed a bunch of copies of Radiohead’s Airbag / How am I driving? ep in stock. This EP was once the pinnacle piece of any serious Radiohead fan’s collection, because it was a limited edition US-only release. In my university days I would source copies of the EP and sell them on ebay for tidy profits – as you can see on Amazon.com, in 2003 there was a copy available for $77. While I never made that tidy a profit, now that it is 2008, and Radiohead’s stock is so high – Capitol has re-released the EP and I would definitely recommend the $7 purchase on Amazon or your local independent music retailer (mall goers in Canada: at HMV the CD is 2 for $20).

Heck, I have a copy i could let go for $5…I was saving it for my children, but I guess their university fund will have to start with actual cash rather than the once prized possession of my radiohead collection.

The major record label wrecks something else. big surprise. those jerks.

i just noticed the guitar riff in Geto Boys is the same sample from a wyclef song… couldn’t tell you which one right now. it is good in both place.

    when is your child due?
