Like their other non-female female predesesors, little girls have been genrefied as “shitgaze”.  so shit gaze actually they shit shit.  take a listen here or below.

Could this band be harder to google? Check out Girls new album. Yup, it’s called album. Whatever. They sound pretty good after the first couple listens. Coming to the El Macombo for the only Canadian stop on their tour on November 10, 2009.

To me, The Drums self-released song “I felt Stupid” sounds a little along the lines of Pains of Being Pure at Heart…I haven’t been able to fully appreciate Pains, but getting past the Drums corny lyrics (rhyming “silly” with “family”?) and song title choice leaves us with a catchy tune. Yay or gay? You decide.

The Antlers are playing in toronto tomorrow (thursday).  their music is wonderful.  Their new album hospice is a narrative about a couple and one of them dieing in the hospital with bone cancer.  not sure how i fell about hypotheitical conceptual albums, the decemerist do it, but it works.

that is a picture of antlers.  The microphones aka mount eeire made a song called antlers i can’t find an mp3 anywhere and my music collection is lost via personal mp3 player. but listen to it here .  it’s beautiful.

i don’t know where it is.  i have looked all the places i thought it might be.  it hasn’t been updated for over a year…  but it has every musical tune i have, not to mention many other digital files.  I will be forced to record songs off the radio again onto my cassette player.
